Eiffel Tower Photoshoot in Paris

The Eiffel Tower is the image most people picture when they think of Paris, and it is still the most requested backdrop I shoot. The trick is not the tower itself — it is everywhere — but finding the angle and the moment where it frames you instead of overwhelming you.

Most Eiffel sessions start at Trocadéro, across the Seine, where the tower sits square in the distance. Early morning is the easiest time: the light is soft, the plaza is quiet, and we can work without a crowd. Later in the day we can move along the river, to the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, or to the quiet Avenue de Camoëns, where a single frame of the tower opens between the buildings.

A typical shoot runs 30 to 60 minutes. You get the full set of lightly edited images the same day and a smaller selection finished more carefully afterward. If you are planning a proposal, this is one of the strongest settings in the city — see the proposal photographer page for how those are planned.

What matters most is that you enjoy the walk. I will direct when you want it and step back when you don’t, so the pictures feel like you rather than a pose.
