About Lukas Nguyen — Paris Photographer

I am Lukas Nguyen, a Vietnamese photographer based in Paris. I came to France to study and stayed to build a career behind the camera — more than ten years of it now, with over 3,000 clients photographed across the city and wider Europe.

My background is in web engineering and multimedia, trained at Arena Multimedia Academy. That mix still shapes how I work: organised on the day, calm with people, and comfortable with the craft as much as the technology. But what clients remember is the feeling of the photos, not the logistics.

My style is candid. I look for the moment that is already happening — a laugh, a glance, the breath before a kiss — rather than staging it. I shoot mostly with natural light, and I am drawn to the warm western tones of a Paris sunset. Editing stays close to what the eye saw: true colour, gentle contrast, no heavy retouching. I don’t consider myself an artist in the grand sense; I see the work as passing on a feeling, so that when you look back you want to return to that place, or plan a trip of your own.
